This 3-car set was sold only thru Toyota dealers (AREA 86) in Japan. Various reports from Japan indicate it was sold out within one day. I was fortunate to obtain this set as a gift thanks to a good friend and fellow Toyota enthusiat living in Tokyo.

About one month ago I ask a friend in Tokyo if he could help me get some Toyota 86 material. Last week I received a nice gift from him, which included:
The Japanese TOYOTA 86 brochure is what a brochure should look like! Much nicer than the American Scion FR-S brochure.
The Paper Craft Car is also nicely done, however I won’t be building it. Instead I will keep it just as is.
Next entry will be about the Kysoho 3-car set!

I bought this model from a fellow collector on the Hobby Talk Diecast Forum. Price was $2 plus shipping. Model was loose, with no package. To the best of my knowledge this was probably from the Pocket Cars series that was sold in the USA during the 70′s. It would have been Pocket Cars No. 137-14.
