  Day 14 – II ADO

  My adventures in Japan were quickly drawing to a close, and I only had a few days left until I had to return home. After taking care of some things during the morning hours, we headed over to Ginza to check out a few minicar shops. First stop was Art Minicar Ginza, which I had visited last year. This is a nice shop, but they only carry newer diecast in 1:43 & 1:18 scale and I was pretty much caught up on new 1:43 scale diecast. That meant we didn’t spend much time there & I left empty-handed. After Art Minicar Ginza, we had some ice cream and took our time finding the next stop on our itinerary – II ADO. This was a new shop that I had not visited before. It took a little searching, but we eventually found it. It is just down the street and around the corner from the Kabukiza Theater, which is located on Harumi Dori. II ADO is another small shop, but they have an interesting assortment of diecast to choose from – some old, some new, some big, some small. I probably could have bought a lot here, but I controlled myself and only picked up a few select items (see New Stuff below).

  

   After we finished shopping at II ADO we did a little more sightseeing, and unexpectedly ran into a friend of Agent Y. That was a surprise since the friend doesn’t work in Ginza… thousands of people running to & fro, and we meet up with a friend running a work errand! At the time we were at the Sukiyabashi Intersection, standing in front of the Sony building, where there was this display for the Nissan Dualis. Pretty clever, and pretty cool! It was definitely drawing a lot of attention from people.
